How Relief got started
After years of working as a plumber for other companies across the OKC metro, I kept noticing the same things bothering me — and bothering customers. People getting upsold on repairs they didn't need. Plumbers showing up four hours late, then charging by the hour while they walked back to the truck. Sticker shock on the invoice because nobody talked about price until the work was done.
My wife and I sat down one night and asked the obvious question: what if we just didn't do any of that?
That's how Relief Plumbing started. We named it Relief because that's what plumbing should feel like when you're stressed — like the cavalry just showed up. Not like you're about to get nickel-and-dimed by a stranger in your kitchen.

Day or night. If you call us at 2am with water coming through a light fixture, you're not getting an answering service or a robot. You're getting someone who can dispatch help.
A flat-rate quote, in writing, before any work starts
You'll know the full price before we open a single toolbox. If the job turns out to be smaller than we thought once we open the wall, the price goes down — not up.
We tell you the truth
Sometimes that means saying "yes, this is going to be expensive." More often it means saying "you don't actually need to replace that whole line — let's just swap this one fitting." We're not paid on commission, and we're not trying to sell you anything you don't need. Our reputation in this town matters more than one big invoice.
We treat your house like our mom's
Boot covers on. Drop cloths down. Mess cleaned up. We don't leave until you've inspected the work and signed off that you're happy with it.
If you're ever not happy with our work, you call us first — before you call anyone else. We will make it right. That's not a marketing slogan, that's how a family business has to operate.

We work across the entire Oklahoma City metro — Moore (our home base), OKC proper, Norman, Edmond, Yukon, Mustang, Midwest City, Bethany, Del City, Choctaw, Newcastle, Piedmont, Blanchard, El Reno, and Guthrie. If your zip code is in the metro, we'll be there.
Most of our customers are homeowners. We handle everything from a single drip under the kitchen sink to a full repipe on a 1970s ranch house with failing galvanized pipes. We also take on light commercial work — small offices, restaurants, rental properties — but our heart is residential.
Why our pricing is different
Most plumbing companies charge by the hour, which means the slower they work, the more they make. We hate that. Every job we do is flat-rate: the price you see is the price you pay, no matter how long it takes us.
If you want to know what something costs before you call, here's a starting place: most emergency repairs in the metro fall between $175 and $650. A standard water heater install runs $1,200–$2,200. A whole-home repipe is usually $4,500–$9,500 depending on the house. None of those numbers are firm until we see your specific situation, but you can plan around them.
The team behind the company
Right now, Relief Plumbing is a small team — and that's by design. Every truck that pulls up to your house is driven by someone we trained personally and trust completely. As we grow, we're going to keep hiring slowly and carefully. We'd rather miss a call than send the wrong person to your home.
